If hiking is part of your Montana ranch vacation agenda, The Ranch at Rock Creek offers some of the most secluded and scenic hiking in Montana, with a menu ranging from wildflower-laden meadows to sparkling alpine lakes to the ridge tops of the Sapphire Mountains.

In addition, the famed Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness, known for its high, rugged mountain scenery where mountain goats make their home, is a short drive away. Our naturalist guides will be happy to accompany you on your explorations and share their knowledge of the area’s flora, fauna and geology, or to peruse the maps with you and send you on your way.
   
Stop by The Rod & Gun Club to outfit yourself with backpacks, hiking poles, maps, bear spray, and binoculars -- we're also happy to provide you with a gps and radio so you can range as far and wide as you like.
