Whiskey & Water Weekend

September 10-13, 2020

Take some time this September to slow down and savor nature’s alchemy – namely aged spirits and fly fishing where a river runs through it. As Charles Waterman said, “The world is covered by water. A fly fisherman’s job is simple: pick out the best parts.” Join us as we do exactly that while reveling in first-class cuisine, casting and telling fish tales over a fine whiskey or two.

In addition to The Ranch’s all-inclusive dining, activities, luxury accommodations and amenities, this weekend’s special events include fly tying lessons; fly fishing challenges; whiskey tastings and wagon rides; and a multi-course, farm-to-table bourbon pairing dinner featuring Jefferson’s Bourbon. Even avid fishermen and whiskey connoisseurs can hone their expertise from longtime sportsmen and famed bourbon historian Chet Zoeller.

As the only US charter member of the National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World collection, focused on sustainable global tourism, all events will adhere to sustainable fishing practices designed to keep our Blue Ribbon trout stream thriving.

Customized itineraries are crafted for all guests, and they can cater to friends or spouses who wish to enjoy our other included signature experiences, like horseback riding, hiking and shooting ranges at the world’s first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star guest ranch. See last year’s itinerary below.
