The most peaceful yet invigorating vacation we’ve had! Our two sons (15 and 21 yo) rated it better than the Grand Canyon. We participated in pistols, hiking, rifles, trap and skeet (their favorite), downhill mountain biking, whitewater rafting off-property, horseback riding, and fly-fishing, and one of our favorite ways to relax was sitting on the porch watching the aspens quake and watching the mother robin feed her babies in a nest under the eaves. The service was phenomenal (Ian and Alaska John were 2 of our favorite staff members), and only surpassed by the amazing food. Enough cannot be said about the chef, who even brought a platter of freshly cooked hanger steak and salmon to our table when we arrived late to the buffet. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny.

This was the best vacation we’ve ever had! Not only is the Ranch in a stunning setting, but the service redefines hospitality and luxury — there was so much personal attention and every little request we had was happily indulged. Every guide we had was awesome and contributed ten-fold to us enjoying each activity. And the food… at several points in the vacation we stated whatever it was we were eating was best thing we’d ever eaten. Definitely stay in a cabin by the creek if you can. This was a bucket list item and it did not disappoint!

This was our second time at the Ranch at Rock Creek. The facilities, staff and genuine beauty that you’re surrounded by make it an a getaway like no other. We can’t say enough about the quality and genuineness of the entire staff. The activities are SO fun. Literally, something for everyone. We have stayed in the glamping cabins both times. Falling asleep to the creek running just outside your door makes for a peaceful night’s sleep and you can’t help but wake up with a huge smile knowing the beauty that surrounds you as you start your day. The food, drinks, spa and fun little boutique are all top notch as well. There isn’t one negative thing I could say about our experiences at the ranch, other than we had to leave:). Take the time and spend the money for this truly amazing experience. You won’t regret it!

I visited the Ranch with my best friend for several days of R&R (and heavy cardiovascular work!) We greatly enjoyed snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, fat-tire biking, yoga, and horse-back riding. It was COLD while we were there (-9, anyone?), but the Ranch has all the gear you need to stay warm, and we loved sitting by the fire to eat/read/drink. This place has the best accommodations and the most wonderful food I’ve ever experienced at a resort. The staff is friendly in a genuine way that I truly appreciated – nothing fake or strange – just nice people doing work they seem to enjoy. I can’t wait to return!
