  • February 2020 | Best Ranch Experience Imaginable

The FOOD is TO DIE FOR! Chef Josh and his team are brilliant and so accommodating. My husband loves meat, I am vegetarian and my daughter is super picky. Not only did they serve incredible food that we all thoroughly enjoyed- they customized our meals. When my husband craved bolognese, he asked for it, and got an incredible rendition (including fresh, house made fettuccini) even though it wasn’t on the menu. When he ate something he loved he asked for seconds, and it was delivered with a smile. In addition to the menu items, there were fresh and somehow always warm chocolate chip cookies in the bar/loungearea. This is where we spent the majority of our time, by the fireplace, playing board games and being served everything and anything our hearts desired. Emily the PM food and beverage manager was always there to take care of us. Her kindness and hospitality never ever wore thin. She remembered all of our likes and dislikes and was so thoughtful in what she recommended. She is a sommelier and an expert on wine pairings and a super awesome cocktail maker. Her colleague Lindsey was also amazing and so attentive and generous with everything. There was yet another amazing woman whose name is escaping me but she was equally fabulous-we just saw a lot less of her. These 3 women made the lounge our favorite spot…

  • January 2020 | Magical. Spectacular. Once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Within 24 hours we’d run out of superlatives to describe our experience at the Ranch. The property is like a series of postcards come to life: exquisitely-designed buildings that felt both authentic and luxurious, activity centers with top-of-the-line equipment for dozens of activities in the beautiful Montana outdoors, outstanding food and drink at all hours of the day and night. The main Lodge guest room in which we stayed was perfectly-appointed with 100+ little touches and accents that must have taken years to get just right. I can’t say enough about the staff: they’ve invented a new class of hospitality — unprompted, they took some of my off-hand observations about the property and arranged a few special “off-menu” experiences, like watching their breathtaking herd of horses get turned out to pasture. Just a gem of a property — by day 2 we were already talking about coming back in the Summer. Thanks, Ranch staff, for an unbelievable stay.

  • October 2019 | Magnificent Place

The Ranch proves the old adage, “You get what you pay for!” With a near 1 to 1 staff to guest ratio, you’re treated like royalty at this upscale dude ranch. We loved it so much, we’re returning to spend Christmas, 2020 at the Ranch

  • September 2019 | Excellent service in an unparalleled setting

This was my second trip to the Ranch at Rock Creek. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience, which is truly excellent in every respect. Imagine the service you would receive at the best hotel in the world, combined with the most beautiful natural setting in the west. If you are interested to experience this part of the world, there is no better way to do so. Our experience was custom-tailored for our family by the ranch staff from the moment we made our booking, so that we were able to do all the fun activities we wanted and then some, and even with everything perfectly planned ahead of time they still improvised to make it more enjoyable throughout our stay. It is apparent every member of the staff is fully invested in doing whatever it takes to make your experience phenomenal and I can say from my two trips thus far that they continue succeed in every respect. Thank you! We will be back.

  • August 2019 | Best of the Best

For travelers familiar with Clayoquat, Twin Farms, or Deplar Farm, the Ranch at Rock Creek is our favorite. We really LOVE all those places, but the RCR just has it figured out to the point that the experience is borderline flawless. Most of the time after a trip, I don’t remember the names of the staff. Here it’s easy. Lindsay, Luke, Myron, Dani, Denisse, Matt, Gup, Brianna, and Doug. So many of them are memorable because they are that good. There were others who were great and I didn’t spend enough time to remember their names (like the guy who helped me out with the small cans of Perrier at the Buckle Barn during the Barbecue Tuesday evening, just crazy helpful). All just so genuine and made everything nice. The staff/guides are neither obsequious nor preachy. They all strike the right balance of simply acting like helpful friends. Each time we come (fourth time in four years) everyone there from the staff to the other guests (the culture of friendliness is pervasive) it feels like a homecoming.

Epic in a way you should whisper about. Would be hard to describe with words. Must do.
