Specialty Accommodations

Private Luxury Homes

Experience tranquil Montana from a private luxury home. Each of our eight homes offers a unique floor plan, ranging in size from one bedroom to five bedrooms and offering ample living space. Some include a full-size kitchen and dining area for a true home-away-from-home experience.

Glamping Tents

Our 10 glamping accommodations allow travelers to enjoy the pristine Montana scenery, without sacrificing the comforts of a luxury resort. Canvas walls provide ample natural light while hard wood floors, a gas stove and screened porch on Rock Creek add grandeur to the glamping experience.

Granite Lodge Suites

The Granite Lodge recalls the great turn-of-the-century railroad hotels and National Park lodges. Tucked away in a quiet corner of The Ranch’s main building are nine beautiful rooms that give a nod to Montana’s storied past.

VIP Executives

Our 29 one-of-a-kind accommodations are built to please even the most discerning world traveler. VIP Executives have many choices based on their needs and preferences. Loft in our remodeled Historic Barn, is as opulent as it is authentic. Sweetgrass is a palatial three-room glamping cabin with gas stoves and a private cedar soaking tub overlooking Rock Creek. Bluebird is a luxurious log cabin with a canopy bed, an eight-person sauna and a heated screened porch.

Suggested Team Activities

Ropes Course

Our 19-feature ropes course is popular among corporate groups who are looking for an activity that combines personal challenge with group participation. The lower elements promote team building, challenging the group to work together to achieve a target. The 13 elevated elements include three zip lines, rope bridges, 35-foot challenges and the leap-of-faith.

Geocaching integrates treasure hunting with modern-day technology. Using GPS devices and coordinates, groups can locate boxes hidden on thousands of acres of ranch land. Considered “hiking with a purpose,” this activity is just as fun in a pair of snowshoes as a pair of hiking boots. Caches can be customized for private events or group themes; the clues lead guests toward tailored secret messages or a grand prize.

Bowling Tournament

Nothing brings out healthy competition like a bowling tournament in the Silver Dollar Saloon. Enjoy premium wine, beer and spirits at the bar and a four-lane bowling alley with computerized scoring, complete with a selection of balls and bowling shoes in assorted sizes.

Evening Entertainment

In addition to our bowling alley, Silver Dollar Saloon entertainment includes billiards, table tennis, shuffleboard, karaoke, a private movie cinema and board games. Shuffleboard and dart tournaments add a competitive flare to the night’s events. Saddle up to the bar to enjoy artisan cocktails, draughts and over 100 premium spirits. Step outside and roast s’mores over a bonfire or stargaze into the night.

Special Activity or Service Element

With the assistance of the Rod & Gun’s fly fishing guide team, this corporate group designed an element of philanthropy into their spring retreat. This special Rock Creek Clean Up, included an educational talk on conserving clean water and healthy fish habitats and benefitted the local chapter of Trout Unlimited (Westslope Chapter).
