Yes, a large wedding must be a buyout of all The Ranch’s accommodations and services for a minimum of three nights, so that we can provide first-class services to all your wedding guests. If you are interested in eloping with a group of 16 or less, you do not need to buy out the property.
Please note that during the spring, winter and fall, a buyout is more likely to be available and at a reduced rate from our peak summer season.
Buyouts for groups of 17 or more start at $72,000 per night plus a 20% Ranch fee. We are happy to create a custom quote for your party. Please fill out our wedding and event request for proposal at the bottom of our events page.
Yes. If you are interested in a wedding at The Ranch, we encourage you to find a wedding planner that can help bring all aspects of your destination wedding together in our beautiful setting. Though we provide catering, set-up, on-site coordination, staff, accommodations, activities and more, a wedding coordinator works with you through all aspects of the process, including liaising with your guests and creating a unique vision. If you don’t have a wedding planner in mind, we can recommend trusted vendors.
We can host up to 75 people during the majority of the year. Elopement services area available for 16 or fewer guests.
No, The Ranch is designed to be an all-inclusive resort, so our services are based on providing activities, dining and amenities for guests staying on-property.
Yes. The majority of our guests plan an outdoor ceremony, and most of the time the ceremony goes off without a hitch. However, Montana weather (and all weather) can surprise us. In that case, we will propose a beautiful indoor space that will complement your wedding vision.
Yes! All of our catering is on-site, and it is all prepared by our world-class Relais & Châteaux culinary team. Please see above for sample menus prepared by Executive Chef Josh Drage. Our menus are created based on the preferences of the bride and groom.

Yes, The Ranch has added more activities to ensure there are a plethora of safe and fulfilling outdoor activities for your group. View the list above to learn more about what’s available for groups.
Guides and staff will wear masks and gloves during the moments when social distancing isn’t possible. We will ask guests to do the same in those rare instances. Out on the trail or activity, once six feet of distance can be maintained, face masks will not be required. If a guest does need assistance that requires guides to go within six feet it is mandatory that wranglers and guests put on their masks.
In order to execute this, we ask that all guests walk or bike to their activities (to avoid vehicle usage). We also stagger our activity start times to avoid crowds in the Rod & Gun Club. We ask that you be on time for your activity. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may not be able to take part in your activity.

Airport transfers are available and included from Missoula, Butte and Anaconda airports. A Ranch employee will greet guests at the airport and drive them to The Ranch. Masks will be required during transportation. Water and snacks are available for the drive.
If guests prefer to drive themselves or do not wish to wear masks, a Ranch employee will greet guests at the airport and provide a complimentary private vehicle from Enterprise car rental agency for guests to transport themselves to The Ranch. They will be ushered to The Ranch with our driver leading the way. (Advanced notice required)
Each individual, couple or family group will receive their own vehicle so that social distancing with non-family members will be maintained.
Your Group Coordinator will collect all flight/travel information prior to arrival in order to provide transportation for all guests.
